The present study is devoted to an exploration of the relationship between parenting styles andemotional intelligence by answering the following questions:(1) What are the prevalent parenting styles of kindergarten children?(2) Is there a statistically significant relationship (at α0.05) between parenting styles and theemotional intelligence of kindergarten children?(3) Are there statistically significant differences (at α 00.05) in the parenting styles of kindergartenchildren due to gender?
