The present study has the following limitations:. The study is limited to an exploration of emotional intelligence and its relation to parenting styles.. The study is limited to kindergarten children in Second Zarqa II Directorate of the Jordanian Min-istry of Education in the first semester of the academic year 2017/2018.. Only two measures were developed to obtain the results of the study: the emotional intelligencescale, and the parenting styles scale.. The results of the study will depend on the validity and reliability of the emotional intelligencescale and the parenting style scale, the objectivity of the respondents, and their scientific integrity.The generalization of the study results is valid only for the population that the sample was drawnfrom and similar communities.
